Sri Sri Radha Govind Dev Ji
A Divine Journey of Love and Devotion
The Jagannath Rath Yatra, or the Festival of Chariots, is one of India’s oldest and most beloved festivals, originating over 5,000 years ago in Jagannath Puri, Odisha. It symbolizes the moment when Lord Jagannath, along with His siblings Baladev and Subhadra Devi, comes out of the temple to bless everyone with His darshan — even those who normally cannot enter a temple.
Through the efforts of ISKCON’s founder, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, this sacred festival is now celebrated in cities across the world — including Jodhpur — with great enthusiasm and devotion.
Jagannath Rath Yatra 2025 – Celebrations in Jodhpur
Join ISKCON Jodhpur from 27th June to 5th July 2025 for a week-long celebration of devotion, service, and divine mercy. Witness two sacred Rath Yatras, home visits by the Lord, and the opportunity to personally serve Jagannath Ji.
🗓️ Festival Schedule
📍 27th June 2025 (Friday) – Grand Rath Yatra in Jodhpur City
- The festival begins with a magnificent Rath Yatra procession through Jodhpur’s main city.
- The Lords – Jagannath, Baladev, and Subhadra – will ride on a beautifully decorated chariot pulled by hundreds of devotees.
- The Yatra will begin and end in the city, accompanied by kirtans, devotional dancing, prasadam distribution, and cultural programs.
📍 28th June to 4th July 2025 – Lord Jagannath Visits Devotees’ Homes
- For seven days, one fortunate family each day will host the Lord of the Universe at their home.
- Families can offer bhoga, perform arti, arrange kirtans, and invite neighbors for prasadam.
- This is a special opportunity to receive Lord Jagannath’s personal blessings in your own home.
📍 5th July 2025 (Saturday) – Return Rath Yatra (Bahuda Yatra)
- The festival concludes with a second Rath Yatra — the Return Yatra, starting from Parwanth and ending at the ISKCON Jodhpur Temple.
